Our story

More than 60 trips in one year. Two years hardly anyone saw.

My relationship with Chile began a decade ago. I came back at least three times a year to visit wineries, taste other wines and get to know the experiences each place offered. Along the way, there were almost a hundred visits.

In 2024, a trip to Santa Ana changed that relationship. I discovered a winery, became friends with its owners and, a few months later, I was buying a plot of land to create my own winery in the Colchagua Valley.

Taking big risks has always been part of my life. At that moment, I was putting time, money and a huge part of my energy into that decision.

The next two years were intense. In 2025 alone, I made more than 60 trips between Brazil and Chile. I kept running my other companies while following the construction of Rhenus and learning what this project demanded of me.

I went to events and fairs. I met producers, deepened my interest in organic and natural wines, took part in trials and built relationships with people who became part of this story.

I also fell flat on my face. I rethought choices, faced problems and had to learn while things were already happening. The building work, the vineyard, the wines and the companies in Brazil all competed for the same calendar.

For much of that time, I posted very little. Those who followed me saw only a small part of what was happening. Left out of the photos were the difficulties, the decisions I had to rethink and the people who helped me.

I want to tell that behind-the-scenes story as candidly as I lived it. Rhenus was born from a personal decision, and the wines carry the urge to experiment that made me cross the border so many times.

Now I want to welcome you, introduce the wines and tell you how each choice took shape.

I took the risk. Now, I sign the wines.

How we work

Taking part in the choices is part of Rhenus. That involvement shows in how we taste our wines, in how we look for producers and in the way we want to welcome you. We share the path of each label and name the people who make the flavors in our selection.
